An e-textbook contains digitally stored text that can be read on a computer together with adaptations such as speech synthesizers and screen enlargement or a Braille panel.
E-textbooks can be lent by a library to everyone with a print disability. Users can submit candidates for new products to their local library, which, in turn, send in the suggestion to us via legimus.se. It takes about two months to produce an e-textbook.
Reading e-textbooks requires the Textview reading program. The reading program can be downloaded free of charge from legimus.se. At present, Textview supports only Windows.
